5 Ways To Kiss Stress Away!

We all face stress on our everyday life. No matter what you do, where you are, what you're dealing with at the moment, it's easy to let stress in. What's hard is to kick it away!

But it is important that youu kind find ways to do just that, because even though it is normal to feel stressed, too much of it can be really bad for your health (and your head!).

And because lately I've been feeling very much stressed myself, thanks to mostly lots of pressure coming from lots of places, I thought I'd do a little search on some tricks and tips to say bye bye to stress time and share it with you!

Move Your Body!

Oh yeah! Exercising can help you with stress and anxiety!!

Sweating actually improves your mood, which is exactly what we want!

So, you know what to do! Get out there, go for a run or for a walk, hit the gym, go swimming or, if you're like me, get up, play some music and dance!

Fake It Til You Make It

I know that sounds wrong but just read on!

What the thing you want to do the least when you're about to burst?

Smile...

Well, guess what? That's exactly what you gotta do! Force it if you must (try not to tough!), but smile as much as you can!

Smiling gives your body the imediate impression that you're feeling better, and it's response is to reduce the level of anxiety.

And it also helps to reduce your heart rate, wich rises when you go trough a stressful situation.

So The Big Bang Theory/FRIENDS marathoon it is!!!

Pen And Paper Are Your Two Best Friends

Writting is not only relaxing but also freeing.

If you're into poetry or stories, try getting some out in a stressful time. It'll help distract you and put all of that energy into something productive.

If you're not much of a writer, try something like "I'm writting this and I don't really know why I'm just stressed and needed to relax and heard this was a good idea..." Yeah, I know its sounds crazy, but just translate to paper what goes on your mind (literally) and all of a sudden you'll find yourself spilling everything you've been holding in!

And before you say anything else, know this: I myself have tried it. And it works!

Talk About It

Call a friend, meet up, tell your mom or your dad or your grandmother or whoever you feel like will listen to you.

Sometimes, all we need is someone to listen to our worries and to talk to us about how we feel.

Humans need each other's company, it's one of the many thing that actually makes them Human.

Plug It In

Music.

That's my personal favorite escape! Whenver I feel stress or I'm having a hard time, it always helps me.

Relaxing music (like Bossa Nova) is great if you're feeling anxious.

And it's also a good idea to listen to music that expresses how you feel, if you're mad, sad, worried... It'll help you come to terms with your feelings and start moving on!
