Inspirashion: Midnighters

Hey guys!!

I'm pretty sure you've all figured by now that I LOVE doing these Inspirashion post!! I get inspired by so many things, music, movies, series, cities... and books, in this case!

Fashion is EVERYWHERE!!

So, recently I read the 1st book of the Midnighters series and I just LOVED it!!

After I finished it, it still wouldn't leave my head!

And for some reason, I found myself thinking about the fashion style of the characters - that's my mind working right there!

I wondered about it so much, I created these really specific looks in my mind!

Therefore, today I will show you guys 3 looks inpired by the 3 main female characters of Midnighters: Jessica, Dess and Melissa!

Jessica: The Girl Next Door

Jessica Day, to me, is the typical girl next door! She is nice, but not too nice!

She has decent grades, makes friends easily and she is pretty popular, but she also has a wild side, she stands her ground and isn't afraid to speak her mind!

Style wise, I imagine her as having a casual and simple style, gifting her with an effortless kind of beauty.

In my mind, she looks a bit like Nina Dobrev, and her style is somewhat similar to Nina's character in TVD.

Dark wash jeans, a basic top, ankle boots and matching bag. It's simple, yet chic! And, to keep it from being boring, a staple piece like a leather jacket in an unexpected color will do the trick! Add some chain necklaces and simple makeup, and you're ready!

Fragrance wise, I think DKNY's Be Delicious would be perfect for her!

Dess: Triple G - Girly Goth Genious

Dess is a quirky, smart and unexpectedly bright person!

She is nicer than you think at first! She has alot to say, and she will sau it no matter what cause, well, that's just who she is!

She is a goth, no doubt, but a girly one!

So I kind of picture her as a casual version of a dark lolitta!

A simple dress with a cross pattern, black knee high socks, platform studded boots and the must-have leather jacket! She would defenitely be the type to really pump up her makeup, and a plum lip seems like just her style!

To really tie it all together, she'd do a fun and peculiar detail, like a phone case with an iteresting message on it...

In my head, she looks kind of like Krysten Ritter with her bob style black hair!

For perfume, YSL's Black Opium would fit her just right!!

Melissa: The Loner

Melissa is the true goth! Because of her power, she prefers to isolate herself (and honestly, anyone would if they were her!!), and her style reflects just that.

She wears black. Period. Maybe a bit of white, some silver here and there, but black is her all-over color.

I picture her looking a little bit like Michelle Trachtenberg in her dark hair days!

And Lancôme's Trésor Midnight Rose seems like the smell that would follow her everywhere!

Black skinny jeans with zippers are definitely goth chic, and who doesn't love an oversized tshirt?? Doc Martens and a long coat would complete her look perfectly! And a black leather phone case, with some texture to it (she's monochormatic, not boring!) would be the right final touch!

Oh and, if course, you can't forget her much needed headphone's, to block out all of that noise...
